Is It Time for Eyelid Surgery?

With age, the upper eyelids will often begin to sag due to the thin nature of the eyelid skin.  This sagging skin can make you appear mad or tired when you are not. This excess or drooping skin can also interfere or block a portion of the peripheral vision and impair sight.

Eyelid surgery, also known as a Blepharoplasty, is a procedure that can be done to remove excess skin or tissue in the upper eyelids.   If during a consultation, the vision is found to be impaired to a certain degree, most insurances will cover the Blepharoplasty as a medically necessary procedure. We work directly with your insurance to obtain pre-authorization when required.
